A Whole New Perspective
When our design team first visited this Lake Forest kitchen it was dark and dated. The blue cabinets didn’t extend to the ceiling, and the red ceramic floor tiles looked worn and dreary. While the kitchen had plenty of space, the layout didn’t optimize countertop space or sight lines to the dining room.
From Drab to Fab
Replacing the red tile with wood flooring instantly updated the kitchen and created the perfect complement to contemporary white cabinets. By closing off a wall and opening up another, the new layout expanded the countertop space and improved dining room sight lines.
Grey quartz countertops and glass fronted white cabinets give this kitchen a light, contemporary look.
