We’ve gained a lot of expertise since our founding in 1910. Our highly trained craftsmen, expert design team and unsurpassed customer service make us the ideal partner for your next home project — big or small — we’re here for you. We’ve got everything under one roof to take your project from start to finish.
Who We Are
In the beginning we were a small rug store founded by immigrants with big dreams. Haig Kashian and his brother opened a rug cleaning and repair business in Wilmette in 1910. The brothers quickly became famous for their expertise and personal touch, often delivering rugs to customer’s homes on bicycle.
While we’ve grown a lot since then — with showrooms in Wilmette and Lake Forest that showcase a curated collection of everything you’ll need to love your floor and home for life — we’ve remained committed to providing expertise and excellent customer service with a personal touch.
That means we hand-select all our products for superior quality from hardwood, carpet and tile to our line of cabinets handcrafted by Midwest artisans. We clean and repair rugs in our own Evanston warehouse. We’ll get to know you and your taste, then help you create a gorgeous space custom designed just for you to love for life.
